The Real Root Cause

The real root cause of the problems in the world today can be summed up in one simple phrase–uncaring selfishness. All the dark side effects that we see in the world today, the pain, suffering, and monsterous actions are plainly the result of uncaring selfishness. Let me explain a little so you’ll have a better understanding of how you work, therefore, how the ‘world’ works because it is just a macrocosm of you.

Each of us has a little bit of Lucifer or the darkside in us. This little bit of the darkside is our conscious self or more commonly called the ego. It is that part of us that continually tries to portray us as being separate from everyone else. This creates an us/them type mentality.

The ego in an attempt to keep control over us will go to any lengths to make sure that we don’t ever find out the truth. If we don’t have any idea that we are anything but this ego and all of its manifestations in the form of personnae or personalities then there is no knowledge of what our actions do to the world.

Most of us will cater to our ego within what ‘society’ recognizes as ‘acceptable’ behavior. However, there are those whose egos become so much in control they begin to act in a manner that is ‘unacceptable’ to society. But the reality is that at the real root is us acting in an uncaringly selfish manner without regard to what those actions do to others.

When we act out of fear it is only uncaring selfishness that causes us to act. We fear the government will take away our freedoms-why? Because to lose them means I can’t do what I want to do when I want to do it. That is selfish, is it not? What is so important about you doing what you want to do when you want to do it?

Let me clear the air a bit here before I go any further and draw scathing comments. Acting unselfishly does not mean that I have to condone the actions of others even the government’s actions. To infringe upon the free-will rights of anything is the highest of disregard for this Universe and its laws. The difference is that I protest the actions of the government not for what it does to me but what it does to the greater good of ALL THAT IS.

We react to protect “our loved ones”, why? Do we truly do it for them or are we doing it because we don’t want them to not be in our lives anymore? That is a valid question and one you should ask yourself. If I was in a situation where I had to make a choice about protecting the lives of people I loved would it be because of what it would mean to others if something happened to them or would you really be motivated by the selfish desire to not want them out of your life?

Jealousy, shame, guilt, all of the heavy dark emotions are simply products one way or the other of our selfish self trying to get or keep something for outselves. Nothing more!

So you see if we are to build a better world then we must start with ourselves and begin to recreate this world into an unselfishly loving world. Even unconditional love often has a selfish motive behind it. It is what lies as the motivating factor that truly tells the tale of whether or not it is being given in the original sense.

Wars, hunger, pain, suffering, all the things that we say should not be here on this world will never go away until we learn to give and live unselfishly. It begins with the individual and then will grow into countries, countries into regions, regions into continents, continents into the whole planet. Movement of people from one place to another would occur in much more orderly fashion instead of being driven by selfishness of wanting what others have. There would be no those that have because all would have and have alike, no difference.

There would be no big mansions, no better than others, all would be as they are–simply one more soul among all the souls in the Universe. Each functioning to the highest level of their skills and talents for this lifetime learning the lessons in the manner suited to them. Each a part of the greater whole expanding and growing the great knowledge of Creator by the unique learning of the lessons presented.
